Principal’s Welcome
You are most welcome to Mallusk Integrated Primary School.
The children, parents, staff and Governors believe that this is a very special educational environment. We are proud of our caring and happy school. We hope this website provides you with some sense of life in Mallusk IPS.
We have the most important task of educating the minds and hearts of the people who will make positive differences in the future, working in positive partnership with parents and carers. As an Integrated School we welcome all members of the community, from all backgrounds. Each child is valued. Our differences are celebrated.
Each child is encouraged to fulfil their intellectual, physical, social and emotional potential. Central to the creation of this school community is the recognition of the worth and value of each child and the cultivation of their self-awareness, self-respect, respect for others and an awareness of their social responsibility.
Kind regards,
Susanne Kinsella,
Principal

Testimonials
"My daughter, Leona, relocated to Mallusk Integrated Primary School in November 16 where she joined the primary 3-5 class. The teachers are nurturing and loving while providing the structure and guidance my daughter needs. The small class size ensures excellent involvement between child and teacher. I have been impressed at the level of feedback and overall communication. Leona is much happier and self-confident now. I know she will be well-prepared for the future in her education."

“A Great Primary School, Carlton is so happy, he loves the friendly environment, he comes out every day with a smile on his face and has never said he doesn’t want to go to school. Great one to one attention too, which Carlton thrives on!! We’re so glad we have sent Carlton to Mallusk Primary School. We’ll definitely be recommending it to other friends and family”

"From the first visit to Mallusk Integrated Primary School we knew this was the school for our son. Mallusk Integrated Primary School is fantastic, with great outdoor and indoor space. All of the staff - from Principal to the caretaker - are friendly and every child is supported to learn and be the individual person they are. Our son absolutely loves the school, as do we. Thank you for such a great start in our son's education!"

"Moving my children to Mallusk Integrated in September 2016 is the best decision I have ever made. My children were welcomed into a small but caring and dedicated school community. They have grown and flourished under the wonderful guidance and help of all the teachers and support staff. I couldn't wish for a better place for my children to learn and grow in. The Teachers are amazing with all the children. Smiles and giggles are never far away!! The School may be small in numbers but it is big in heart and I couldn't recommend it highly enough."

"Making the choice on where to send our son Patrick to school was a big decision, and what really attracted us to Mallusk Integrated Primary School was the child centred approach and a focus on the belief that if children are happy they will achieve. We made the decision to come here as everything about the school is what we would want it to be; its small and friendly with staff who are committed to the child's learning experience. As parents we've also been welcomed in to the school community through involvement in Patrick's education and also through the PTA. Sending Patrick here was one decision we are very glad we made and leaving my son off in the morning, I know he is going to the absolute best place he could."

"When I moved school, I was a little bit scared. But at Mallusk I made new friends very quickly. We play together so no one is left out. My teacher is very kind and thoughtful, but best of all she’s funny. I love my new school. It’s awesome!"
