Welcome to our website. Mallusk Integrated Primary School is a small school on the outskirts of Glengormley, in the village of Mallusk. It was originally founded in 1936, and is part of the local village community. We have now transformed to become a Controlled Integrated Primary School welcoming children from all faiths or none, from differing cultural traditions and backgrounds.

If you are interested in enrolling your child, for P1 or for any other year group, you can make an appointment to come and visit us. This will give you a sense of our school's caring and supportive community, where we endeavour to make every child's time at school happy, rewarding and successful. You can access the school prospectus by clicking on the green button below.

Our Mission Statement

We nurture our children in a secure, friendly, caring community where everyone is valued for their important contribution. We are staff, parents and children working in positive partnership.

We believe if children are happy they will achieve.

We encourage busy minds and busy hands, aiming to engage, inspire, challenge and support our children. We show respect for ourselves and each other and value all our cultures and beliefs equally.

With open hearts and open minds, we enjoy learning and achieving together.

To promote this, we work to create an atmosphere which helps to enhance pupils’ self-esteem and encourages mutual respect so that children may live happily and securely within the school and wider community. Our school prides itself on positive relationships within the school community. Our children create and review The Golden Rules of our school. Children keeping the Golden Rules are rewarded with cups and prizes in assembly. The Golden Rules are:

  • We respect each other
  • We make sure no-one is left out
  • We keep each other safe and happy
  • We share with each other
  • We try our best
